PU Sandwich Panels are polyurethane insulation sandwich panels for construction. They are made of color-coated steel panels and a core of polyurethane rigid foam, foamed and cured at high temperatures. They are also known as polyurethane composite panels or PU insulation panels. Their core features include thermal insulation, fire retardancy (burnability reaches B1 grade), and quick installation. They are widely used in exterior wall insulation, cold storage, and factory buildings. Surface Texture: Some PU sandwich panels (such as color-coated steel panels) are embossed with a single concave and convex texture to enhance aesthetics or structural strength. The core advantages of Single Stripe Sandstone Texture PU Sandwich Panels are:
1. Energy Saving and Heat Insulation, Reducing Energy Consumption
PU sandwich panels offer excellent thermal insulation properties, low thermal conductivity, and excellent insulation performance, making them one of the best insulation materials currently available. This allows single-stripe PU sandwich panels to effectively reduce heat transfer in construction applications, thereby reducing energy consumption and aligning with the development trend of green buildings.
2. Easy Installation and Short Construction Period
PU sandwich panels offer an aesthetically pleasing design and excellent overall performance. They combine load-bearing, thermal insulation, fire resistance, and waterproofing, eliminating the need for secondary renovations. Installation is quick and easy, with a short construction period and excellent overall benefits.
3. Excellent Fire Resistance
PU sandwich panels achieve a B1 combustion performance rating, offering excellent fire resistance and effectively improving building safety.
4. Waterproof and Moisture-Resistant
PU sandwich panels are waterproof and moisture-resistant, effectively preventing moisture penetration, protecting the building's internal structure, and extending its service life.
5. Excellent Physical Properties
PU sandwich panels offer excellent physical properties such as flex resistance, flexibility, high tensile strength, and breathability. This makes single-stripe PU sandwich panels more durable and adaptable to diverse environmental conditions.
6. Cost-Effectiveness
PU sandwich panels offer excellent cost-effectiveness and are a highly versatile and highly promising energy-efficient building envelope material. They are also a new type of energy-saving panel promoted and promoted by the Ministry of Construction..
Product structure and core performance parameters of Single Stripe Sandstone Texture PU Sandwich Panels
Structure: Single-stripe PU sandwich panels typically consist of two layers of color-coated steel sheets as the surface layer, with polyurethane (PU) insulation material sandwiched between them. Using an automated composite forming machine, adhesive is applied to the steel sheets, thin-walled channel steel is inserted into the panels on both sides, and the panels are then pressed and blanked. This structure allows the panels to provide thermal insulation, heat insulation, load-bearing properties, decorative effects, and waterproofing. They are easy to install and can be cut to meet design requirements.
Core Parameters
(1)Core Material: Polyurethane (PU) insulation material is sandwiched between the panels, providing excellent thermal insulation. Commonly used insulation materials include polystyrene and polyurethane, which have low thermal conductivity.
(2)Panel: Two layers of color-coated steel sheets, inner and outer. The outer layer is typically 0.4mm-1.0mm thick, while the inner layer is 0.5mm-0.8mm thick. The outer steel plate is coated with an epoxy resin primer ≥5μm thick on the front, followed by a PVDF fluorocarbon topcoat ≥20μm thick. The inner steel plate is coated with an epoxy resin primer ≥5μm thick on the front, followed by a corrosion-resistant polyester resin topcoat ≥15μm thick on the outside.
(3)Core Material Thickness: Color-coated steel sandwich panels are available in five thicknesses: 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm. Customization is possible.
Anti-corrosion Coating: The inner and outer panels are coated with an ALUM-Zn coating of 55% Al and 43.5% Zn. This means the outer steel plate has an ALUM-Zn coating of 200g/m², while the inner steel plate has an ALUM-Zn coating of 120g/m².
(4)Paint: External panels: PVDF fluorocarbon paint ≥ 20µm thick on the front; epoxy paint ≥ 10µm thick on the back. Internal panels: PE polyester paint ≥ 20µm thick on the front; epoxy paint ≥ 10µm thick on the back.
(5)Laying and Connection: Horizontal laying, horizontal connections are socket-type, vertical butt-jointed, with internal waterproofing at joints.
(6)Moulding: Factory-molded composite panels
